A B S T R A C T 

Abstract
Most of the readers decide on results and significance according to the p values which are given in the manuscript when they are reading. In fact, the p value which shows the statistical significance is important if it supports the clinical significance. In this article clinical and statistical significance are discussed on examples.

Neyin peşindeyiz? Kutsal p değerinin mi (istatistiksel önemlilik) yoksa klinik önemliliğin mi?

Özet
Makaleler okunurken okuyucuların çoğunluğu makalede verilen p değerlerine bakarak sonuçlar ve önemlilik konusunda karar verirler. Oysa ki istatistiksel önemliliği gösteren p değeri, klinik önemliliği desteklediğinde önemlidir. Bu yazıda örnekler üzerinde klinik ve istatistiksel önemlilik tartışılmıştır.
